As of the September 21 update, Monaco are the only club in Ligue 1 carrying a title clinch number at all, 86, while Marseille and Le Havre already have no survival number to show. Here is where the three worst-case lines behind every figure on this site come from, why a club is never handed the benefit of a tie, and why 14 of the 18 clubs return a row someone else also has.

Ligue 1 relegation 2026: Marseille and Le Havre have no survival number, safety line is 91 points
All figures are as of the September 21 update. The fifth round is complete, so all 18 clubs have five matches played and 29 to go. The worst-case safety line in Ligue 1 is 91 points. Sixteen clubs have a survival number, from a low of 78 for Monaco up to 87 for Lens and Troyes. Marseille and Le Havre have none: their ceilings are 90 and 89. They are also the only two clubs carrying a relegation tragic number, 29 apiece, which is every match they have left.

Ligue 1 fixtures October 10 to 12 2026: only three of the nine matches carry a top three clinch number
As of the September 21 update, Monaco, Lyon and Paris FC are the only Ligue 1 clubs holding a number that guarantees a top three finish, and all three are on the fixture board between October 10 and 12, Korean time. The other six matches contain no top three clinch number at all; what they carry is survival arithmetic. Nothing in the division is clinched and nothing is eliminated, so every figure on the table is a worst case floor and these results can only cut it.
