Samsung beat KT 3-2 in Game 2 of the Korean Series. After KT's 8-7 win in Game 1, that is two one-run games in a row. The series is 1-1, the two Suwon games split one apiece.

The score and the series record here come straight from the data behind this site's postseason page, as of the morning of November 6. A result is used only once two separate outlets report the same score. Line scores and player stats are not in this site's data at the moment, so they are left out.

The arithmetic of the wins left. It is a best of seven, so both clubs need three more wins, with at most five games left. Even if one club wins Games 3 and 4 it is only 3-1, so the series cannot end in Game 4 — Game 5 on November 8 will be played. The quickest finish is one club winning Games 3, 4 and 5; at 3-3 it goes to Game 7 on November 11.

Home games. Games 3, 4 and 5 are at Samsung's home in Daegu, and Games 6 and 7 go back to KT's home in Suwon. Regular-season champions KT (90-49-5) hold home field for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 in the 2-3-2 format.
