The 2026 KBO regular season ended with three games on Monday, October 12, and with it the leaders in ten individual categories were settled. Each of the six batting categories (average, home runs, RBI, hits, runs and stolen bases) has a different leader. Of the four pitching categories (wins, ERA, strikeouts and saves), Doosan's 곽빈 leads two, ERA and strikeouts, and is the only player who leads more than one category. LG's Chan Kyu Im and KT's Young Pyo Ko share the wins lead at 15. Leaving out wins, where the top two are level, the smallest gap between first and second in any counting category is in home runs (one), followed by hits (three).
Every figure here comes straight from the calculation behind this site's title-race page. It adds up the game-by-game records of all 720 regular-season games, including Monday's last three, with all ten clubs at 144 games. Wins, losses and saves are not added up: they are the season totals the feed gives with each appearance, taken from a pitcher's last outing. We checked the first- and second-place figures in every category in this piece against the season-stats feed behind this site's player pages, and all of them match. A leader here is the leader in a statistical category; this is not an official KBO awards announcement. If a scoring change is applied later, these figures can briefly differ from the official record. Player names are as the KBO registers them: players with a romanized name on file appear under that name, and the rest appear in Korean, as on our title-race page.
Batting average and ERA are rate stats, so they come with a minimum. This site sets the plate-appearance minimum at team games × 3.1 and the innings minimum at team games × 1.0, so with every club at 144 games this year they are 446.4 plate appearances and 144 innings. The feed has no hit-by-pitch or sacrifice counts, so plate appearances are approximated as at-bats plus walks, which comes out a little lower than the true figure. Forty batters and 18 pitchers meet the minimums. Counting stats such as home runs and RBI have no minimum.
Batting average. Samsung's Ja Wook Koo leads at .371, 156 hits in 420 at-bats. Second is Lotte's Victor Reyes at .363, 211 hits in 582 at-bats, a gap of .008. Koo played 114 games, and his approximate plate appearances of 486 (420 at-bats and 66 walks) clear the 446.4 minimum. Reyes played all 144. KT's 최원준 is third at .356.
Home runs and RBI. KIA's 김도영 leads in home runs with 45, one ahead of KT's Sam Hilliard on 44. In RBI the order flips: Hilliard leads with 139, ten ahead of Samsung's Lewin Diaz on 129, and 김도영 has 118. Hilliard is second in home runs and first in RBI; 김도영 is first in home runs and second in runs.
Hits and runs. Lotte's Victor Reyes leads in hits with 211, three ahead of KT's 최원준 on 208. Reyes is also second in batting average. 최원준 leads in runs with 125, five ahead of 김도영 on 120, and is also second in hits and third in batting average.
Stolen bases. Lotte's 황성빈 leads with 55, five ahead of NC's 박민우 on 50. 황성빈 played 121 games.
ERA and strikeouts. Doosan's 곽빈 leads in ERA at 2.24, 40 earned runs in 161 innings. Second is KIA's Adam Oller at 3.13, 62 earned runs in 178 innings, a gap of 0.89. 곽빈 also leads in strikeouts with 197, eleven ahead of Lotte's Elvin Rodriguez on 186. His record is 11-7. Doosan finished fifth and plays in the Wild Card round on Wednesday, October 14.
Wins and saves. LG's Chan Kyu Im and KT's Young Pyo Ko share the wins lead with 15, and both finished 15-7. Both met the innings minimum; Ko's ERA of 3.28 ranks fourth, and Im's is 4.46. Samsung's 김재윤 leads in saves with 35, four ahead of LG's 손주영 on 31.
By club, of the eleven leading spots across the ten categories (counting both shared leaders in wins), KT players hold three: Hilliard in RBI, 최원준 in runs and Ko in wins. Doosan (곽빈 in two categories), Samsung (Koo in batting average and 김재윤 in saves) and Lotte (Reyes in hits and 황성빈 in stolen bases) hold two each, and KIA (김도영 in home runs) and LG (Im in wins) one each. SSG, NC, Hanwha and Kiwoom have no category leader.
The MVP, Rookie of the Year and Golden Glove awards are decided by a vote, not by these rankings. This piece does not cover those awards; it lists only the statistical leaders in each category. The official record and awards are as the KBO announces them.
How to read these numbers. Counting stats (home runs, RBI, hits, runs, stolen bases, wins, strikeouts and saves) rank from highest. Batting average is hits divided by at-bats and ERA is earned runs times nine divided by innings, and both rank only players who meet the plate-appearance or innings minimum. The gap between first and second is taken between the figures as displayed, batting average to three places and ERA to two. On-base and slugging percentages are not covered, because the game records used here have no hit-by-pitch, sacrifice, double or triple counts. The top five in each category are on the title-race page, each player's record on the player pages, the final table on the standings page, the postseason bracket on the postseason page, and the working on the methodology page. The final standings and the postseason schedule are in our previous piece.
