Stadiums to see Korean players, Bundesliga edition: Kim Min-jae at the Allianz Arena, Lee Jae-sung at the MEWA ARENA, Hwang Hee-chan at the Veltins-Arena
Three Korean players are in the Bundesliga in 2026-27: Kim Min-jae at Bayern Munich, Lee Jae-sung at Mainz and Hwang Hee-chan at Schalke. This guide covers getting there, tickets and bag rules, using only what the clubs' and stadiums' official pages confirm.

All three clubs are confirmed by official sources. Kim is listed in Bayern's squad on the Bundesliga's official site. Lee signed a new contract with Mainz on February 12, 2026, keeping him at the club this season (club announcement; the length was not disclosed). Hwang joined Schalke on loan from Wolverhampton, and Schalke says the loan runs until June 30, 2027.
Mainz has the most detailed transit guide, and the club recommends the shuttle bus. On home match days shuttles leave Mainz Hauptbahnhof from bus bay S every minute, and the fare is included in the ticket price. Tram and bus lines 51, 53 and 630 also stop near the ground, at Hochschule Mainz, Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena and Kisselberg. For 60 minutes after the final whistle trams do not stop at Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena or Hochschule Mainz, so head for Kisselberg, where the shuttles wait.
A Mainz match ticket doubles as a transit ticket. According to the club, it is valid all match day across the RNN network and from five hours before kickoff in the RMV network, until 4 a.m. the next day in both. Drivers can use the free park-and-ride at Messe Mainz (Genfer Allee) and take a shuttle. The 2026/27 stadium regulations allow bags and backpacks up to 30 x 30 x 15 cm; larger bags have to go to the bag storage. The club lists spectator capacity at 33,305.
Mainz tickets are sold through the official online shop linked from the club website. According to the club, the first sales phase is for members and season-ticket holders. See the map pin and the team page.
Schalke's Veltins-Arena is one tram ride away. The arena's official guide says to take tram 302 toward GE-Buer from the lower level of Gelsenkirchen Hauptbahnhof to the VELTINS-Arena stop, about 15 minutes. That stop is not step-free; wheelchair and stroller users should get off at Willy-Brandt-Allee and walk about 15 minutes. For football matches, VRR public transport is included in the ticket price. Parking is booked in advance online or by phone, and on-site sales are cash only.
Wikidata lists the Veltins-Arena at 62,271. We could not confirm Schalke's bag rules or ticket channel on a current official page, so they are left out here; check the club's official site before you travel. The map pin is and the team page is.
Bayern's Allianz Arena is in the north of Munich, with a capacity of 75,024 according to Wikidata. We could not reach the Bayern or Allianz Arena official sites for this guide, so transit, bag rules and ticketing are not stated as facts here. The match-day pages at allianz-arena.com and Bayern's official ticket pages are the place to check. The map pin is and the team page is.
For all three clubs, buy through the official club ticket channel. Stadium guides can change between seasons, so check the official pages again before you go. Fixtures are on each team page.
