La Liga · 2026-27

How we compute it

Arithmetic, not probability: the minimum points that clinch regardless of every other result, and how many more losses make it mathematically impossible.

How standings are ranked

Ranked by points (win 3, draw 1, loss 0). Ties are broken by goal difference, then goals scored.

Top 4 qualify for the Champions League · Bottom 3 relegated

European places & relegation

  • The top 4 qualify directly for the UEFA Champions League; a 5th place may be added depending on the league coefficient.
  • 5th goes to the Europa League and 6th to the Conference League (the Copa del Rey winner takes a Europa League place).
  • The bottom 3 (18th–20th) are relegated to the Segunda División.
  • 20 teams × 38 games. Ties on points: head-to-head → goal difference → goals scored (this site's table uses goal difference).

Real Madrid — Take 92 more points from the remaining 31 games and a Champions League place is secured whatever anyone else does. Losing every remaining game would still not rule it out.

Possible

Best rank if they win out, worst if they lose out; ties count against them.
