How we compute it

Arithmetic, not probability: the minimum needed to clinch regardless of every other result, and how many more losses make it mathematically impossible.

How standings are ranked

Ranked by winning percentage (wins ÷ games). Teams level on percentage are separated by their record against each other, then the points difference in those games, then points scored in them, then overall points difference and overall points scored. With three or more level, the comparison restarts among the rest each time one team's place is settled (KBL regulations, Article 19).

Top 6 reach the playoffs

  • First round: 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 — best of five.

  • Finals: best of seven.
